The Primary Care Genetics Society is a new organisation established to support primary care professionals (PCPs) as they find themselves dealing with an ever demanding public who are continually being fed information about genetics from various sources including the internet and the lay media. The primary aim of the Society is to support and facilitate the educational needs of PCPs to help translate the continuing advances in clinical genetics into practice.
Innervate provides key services
to the PCGS, including administration support, database management,
professional relations, website and event management and sponsorship
identification. The first PCGS Conference took place in London on 14th February 2007.
