PCOS UK is a new multidisciplinary society for healthcare professionals caring for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, stimulated by Innervate following a meeting with the patient organisation Verity. It has been formed to focus on the need to provide educational support to improve the awareness and knowledge of PCOS and related conditions among healthcare professionals in the UK.

PCOS UK is working in partnership with Verity and other organisations to improve the management of this very common and distressing condition. PCOS UK is delighted to have the support of Diabetes UK and the National Obesity Forum.

Innervate provides key services to PCOS UK, including administration support, database management, professional relations, website and event management and sponsorship identification. The first PCOS UK conference on the 9th of February, was successfully organised and managed by Innervate. A further conference will take place on the 21st of September at the Manchester Conference Centre.
